too concerned with change to leave on the shelf
hedonism is a new found religion
apathy is a life course not a decision
trying to run fast from stereotype
that we become predictable an in line
revolution becomes common place
individualism has lost its face
life has lost its colour and its shine
not out for love just to get mine
self centred pride burns your heart
knife entered side and turns the start
raping your minds eye looking for doubt
murdering your soul just to get out
image is everything when the surface is thin
giving is nothing unless you’re giving in
life is in an instant quality is lost
love still is distant freedom at cost
when fashion is the ideal of poverty
when you’re trippin with a cup of tea
safe the earth with fake sincerity
just looking for your 15 on tv
hating money makers whilst you get rich
life happens when you are acting the bitch
tie up your mind in fake knowledge of life
entrap your heart and guide it to the light
get me freedom from mental incarceration
we lock up our minds in selfish validation
of our own lives trying to look for a meaning
when reality sits and realise we are dreaming
